We've been trying to align our stars with theirs for nearly a year. Finally, the remarkably gifted duo of Adler and Hearne have come to the right place at the right time. Unity of Beaverton is pleased to announce the updoming concert of performing songwriters Lynn Adler and Lindy Hearne Sunday, May 27th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
From their Spring Hollow Organic Song Farm in the piney woods outside the rural arts hamlet of Winnsboro, Texas they serve up a bountiful harvest of folk-jazz / blues-grass...borne of delightful inspiration.
Their music has grown deep roots in the sandy soil of Texas' upper east side. Adler & Hearne's songs reflect glimmers of their life stories, and their home – considered hallowed ground by the stream of friends and family who gather there for the reverie of music making by the deep spring waters of 'Goolsby's Pool.'

Unity of Beaverton YOUTH ED is hosting our multi-generational 2nd Annual All Church Campout during the 3rd weekend of July at Silver Falls State Park, Oregon (approximately 45 miles east of Salem). We've reserved two (2) group tent campsites and one (1) RV group site (new this year).
This multi-generational, three-day event will offer fun, exciting & relaxing opportunities for individuals, families and small groups. In addition, Silver Falls State Park offers a wide variety of activities, including hiking, biking, swimming, and nature discovery. An outdoor Sunday church service will be held at the park for both campers and congregants who attend for all, including those who join us only for the day Sunday, July 22nd.
Reservations will be accepted first come, first served. We can accommodate up to 50 people in tents plus an additional 25 RV units. The event is open to ALL Unity of Beaverton congregants and friends.

The Annual Unity Regional Kids' Camp is waiting for you Sunday, June 24th through Wednesday, June 27th for kids from 7 - 11 years old at time of camp.
Kids Camp is a 4-day/3-night residential camp which offers fun, friendship & spiritual growth for kids from throughout the Northwest Region of Unity Churches. This annual event is held at Camp Waskowitz, outside North Bend, Washington (a 3.5-hour drive from our Unity of Beaverton). Crafts & activities, swimming, campfires, spiritual growth, music, and friends await!
The cost per child is $260. However, a significant early registration discount of $40 will apply if completed paper work and funds are submitted to the Youth Ed Director by May 20, 2012 which makes your cost $220 per person).
